This Brand Policy sets out the guidelines for the use of our, REV Capital and its subsidiaries and associates (referred to as “REV”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) brand(s) and trademarks in accordance with applicable Canadian and American laws.

Trademark Ownership

Our brand(s) and trademarks are valuable assets that belong to us. They are protected by Canadian and American trademark laws and must be used in accordance with this policy.

Permitted Uses

You may use our brand(s) and trademarks for the following purposes:  

- To refer to our products and services in a manner that is truthful and not misleading
- To promote or advertise our products and services with our prior written consent
- To link to our website(s) in a manner that does not imply endorsement or sponsorship by us

Prohibited Uses

You may not use our brand(s) and trademarks for the following purposes:

- To imply an endorsement, sponsorship or affiliation with us that does not exist
- To use our brand(s) or trademarks in a manner that is misleading, defamatory, or disparaging
- To use our brand(s) or trademarks in a manner that is likely to dilute or tarnish their distinctiveness or reputation

With permission to use our logo, product/service icons, or other trademarks, follow these guidelines:

Logo Usage

When the logo is on a light background, text must be navy blue. When the logo is on a dark background, always use flat white. The red line stays the same.

The logo has to be clearly visible against the backdrop. It must have sufficient spacing around all sides.

Avoid putting the logo over busy backgrounds. If the background is too busy, use a box behind the logo, or an overlay to increase legibility. When used with photography, logo should not cover more than 15% of the image(kept relatively small).

The “R” icon should be used as a guide when placing the logo to ensure that there is enough space between the logo and the surrounding content.

Under no circumstance must the logo colors be changed from the approved brand colors.
The logo must not be flipped or rotated.

It must be used as a full logo, or only as the “REV” wordmark. They are not to be separated or moved.

We reserve the right to take legal action against any unauthorized use of our brand(s) or trademarks that violates this policy or applicable Canadian and American laws.
